The Kenya Diaspora Alliance (KDA) and the Diaspora Investment Club (DICL), in conjunction with a host of other Diaspora-focused Stakeholders held a 1-day “Kenya Diaspora Networking Convention” at Daystar University, on Friday, 19th December, 2014.
The Convention brought together diasporians for the purpose of engaging and caucusing among themselves, and also with stakeholders from the private and public sectors, civil society, the media, and academia. The theme of the Convention was “Diaspora Investments & Youth Employment”. The KDA Convention organizing committee invited members of the diaspora, civil society, the public and private sectors, academia, exhibitors, sponsors, and development partners to the event.
About 500 Diaspora (from across the globe) and returnees attended.
